I find Sumi, Manga, Chinese and Japanese calligraphy an exciting source of inspiration. Some of my work inspired by them is pictured above.
I am currently putting myself through a course in Manga created by Hukosai (Katsushika) 1760 - 1849, who is renown for his work on the views of Mt Fuji. He is regarded as the world's foremost ukiyo-e master, a depiction of the Floating World. Look forward to work inspired by him....
